Rincon resident wins $16K playing Georgia Lottery mobile game
RINCON, Ga. (WTOC) - A Rincon resident is celebrating a big win after hitting the jackpot playing a Georgia Lottery mobile game.
Lottery officials say the player won $16,471 on April 21 using the “Hit $250 Quick Win” game through the Georgia Lottery app.
Other winners were also reported across the state.
A Mega Millions ticket sold in Newnan matched four white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball, earning a $20,000 prize. Meanwhile, a Dallas resident won $12,878 playing the “Banker’s Boost Bonus” Diggi Game on the mobile app.
The next Mega Millions drawing is set for April 24, with an estimated $150 million jackpot.
