RINCON, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Rincon is asking residents to help shape its future.

City leaders are launching the development of a 25-year master plan and inviting community members to take part in the process.

The long-range plan will guide Rincon’s growth and development over the next two decades, focusing on key areas like infrastructure, housing, economic development, and overall quality of life.

Officials say community input will play a major role in shaping the plan.

A public kickoff meeting is scheduled for April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Macomber Park. The meeting will introduce the planning process and give residents a chance to share their ideas and priorities for the city’s future.

Topics expected to be discussed include future growth, transportation improvements, parks and recreation, housing development, economic opportunities, and the vision for downtown Rincon.

City leaders are encouraging residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend and take part in the conversation.
