RBC Heritage tickets now on sale ahead of April tournament
HILTON HEAD, SC. (WTOC) - Golf enthusiasts are already making plans for spring as tickets for the 58th RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing went on sale Sunday, just six months before the highly anticipated tournament returns to Hilton Head Island.
The PGA Tour Signature Event, scheduled for April 2026, brings more than $100 million annually to the local economy and promises several changes designed to enhance the fan experience at the newly restored Harbor Town Golf Links.
Liz Carroll was among the eager fans who secured her tickets immediately after they became available. “First thing I did was jump for joy, call my friends, and order as many tickets as we needed,” Carroll said. “Don’t wanna miss out.”
From practice round tickets to ultimate patron tickets and everything in between, there is a little something for anyone looking to enjoy one of the PGA Tour’s nine Signature Events next spring.
Tournament upgrades and safety measures
The tournament will feature enhanced safety protocols, including fencing around the entire course perimeter. While portions of the course were fenced last year, organizers have expanded the security measures to protect golfers, spectators and volunteers.
Steve Wilmot, Heritage Classic Foundation president and tournament director, said extensive planning has gone into the upcoming event. “A lot of effort has gone into kicking it off today, but we are excited and look forward to an incredible 2026 RBC Heritage presented by Boeing,” Wilmot said.
Another significant change involves expanded seating options. Bleachers will be installed at every hole, providing improved viewing opportunities for spectators throughout the course.
Newly restored Harbor Town ready for play
An exciting part of the incoming tournament is that golfers will get to play on a newly renovated course.
Crews closed the course on May 5th and have been working on a complete restoration of every inch of the links.
That is expected to be completed by November 10th and is open to club members and guests to play at all the way up to the RBC in April.
