Private reward donation established for investigation into St. Helena mass shooting

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - A personal injury law firm worked to officially partner with Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County to create a private reward donation for information about Willie’s Bar & Grill mass shooting investigation.

Monday, Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County, announced the formal establishment of a Private Reward Donation of up to $10,000, with Christopher Gibbs of The Gibbs Law and Personal Injury Law Firm.

After the mass shooting, Gibbs issued a reward on behalf of his firm and then began to work with the appropriate authorities to officially partner with Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County.

“This agreement ensures that the funds will be used to incentivize community members to come forward with information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible, as identified by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office,” wrote Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County.

How to submit information pertaining to the mass shooting

All tips, inquiries, and information must be submitted directly to Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County.

Neither Christopher Gibbs nor The Gibbs Law Firm will be accepting or processing tips related to this case.
