Police release video of armed robbery targeting Rincon veteran
RINCON, Ga. (WTOC) - Two armed men robbed a military veteran at his front door Wednesday evening, taking his wallet, phone, keys, and car before driving away, according to the Rincon Police Department.
The robbery happened around evening hours on January 8, 2025, when the veteran was returning home to his family. Two masked men approached him at his door and demanded his belongings at gunpoint.

Officials say the victim gave them what they asked for and was not injured. The police department shared video of the interaction on their Facebook page, and you can view it embedded below:
According to the Rincon Police Department, the robbers carried a semi-automatic handgun and a rifle during the crime. After taking the man’s belongings, they stole his car and left the area.

Police seek help identifying suspect
In the Rincon Police Department’s post where it released the surveillance video showing both men, one suspect briefly pulled down his mask, revealing his face on camera. Police have identified the second suspect and obtained arrest warrants.
