SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A person died Wednesday morning outside the Live Oak Public Library on Bull Street.

According to library staff, shortly after they opened Wednesday they found a person outside the building who was unwell. First responders were called and, sometime between that call and when they arrived, the person died. Savannah police said their officers were called to the scene around 10:35 a.m.

Investigators said there does not appear to be any indication of foul play.

The library closed at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. It will reopen Friday Jan. 2 at 10:00 a.m.
