Parker’s Kitchen announces new long-term partnership with Georgia Southern Athletics

STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Parker’s Kitchen announced a new long-term partnership with Georgia Southern Athletics created to deepen the company’s commitment to Georgia Southern University and the Statesboro community.

“It’s about connecting fans to the brands they know and love – and Eagle Nation loves Parker’s Kitchen,” said Chris Davis, Director of Athletics at Georgia Southern University.

The four-year partnership launches Parker’s first-ever NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) partnership with Georgia Southern football standout Davion “Chewy” Rhodes, who has the same nickname as the convenience store company’s iconic mascot.

As a part of this new collab, Davion is set to become the face of Parker’s Kitchen Chewy Rhodes Hot Honey Combo.

“We’re incredibly excited to launch this new long-term partnership with the impressive team at Georgia Southern Athletics,” said Parker’s Kitchen CEO Brandon Hofmann. “Together, this multi-faceted partnership and NIL collaboration will showcase our continued investment in Georgia Southern University, supporting their successful athletics program while also strengthening our efforts to recruit Georgia Southern graduates to join our workforce.”

The partnership also includes a newly branded student entrance for home football games at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The new collaboration made its debut at Georgia Southern University’s home football game on last Saturday, when the Eagles faced off against the University of Maine Black Bears at Paulson Stadium.
