One man taken to the hospital after a shooting in West Savannah, SPD investigates
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department said they are investigating a shooting in the 1500 block of Chester St. on Feb. 25. Officers reported one adult male was left with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers said they responded to the area at approximately 12:24 p.m. When arriving on scene, SPD said they encountered the victim who had sustained an injury to his arm. They confirmed he was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
