One man dead after shooting at 37th and Ogeechee Rd.
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [Update] The Savannah Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting near the intersection of Ogeechee Rd. and W. 34th St. that left one man dead.
Officers say they responded to the scene shortly before 1:30 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports.
Upon arrival officers discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest.
He was given first aid and then taken to Memorial Hospital.
He died as result of his injuries.
No arrests have been made at the time.
The investigation is ongoing.

Savannah Police have found an adult man shot in the chest.
He has been taken to the hospital with what officials are calling “life-threatening injuries.”

Officials say a suspect is not yet in custody.
