One dead after ATV crash involving seven people in Bacon County

BACON COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - One person died and two others were airlifted from the scene of an ATV crash involving seven people Wednesday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to an ATV crash on Caraway Road at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.

Once on the scene, deputies and first responders found an overturned side-by-side with three adults and four juveniles involved.

Two of the adults were flown by Air Evac to receive treatment. A third adult was taken to Bacon County Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Law enforcement said one of the four juveniles suffered minor injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol is conducting the investigation into this incident.
