New Oak Theatre holds ribbon cutting ahead of opening night
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) -New Oak Theatre held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday ahead of opening night for their production of “I Do! I Do!” at the Tybee Post Theatre.
The new theatre group is partnering with the Tybee Post to bring live theatre to the Savannah area. Their opening production, “I Do! I Do!”, tells a fifty-year story of marriage, memory, and rediscovered love.
New Oak Theatre does not have a permanent home but has a Savannah-based vision. The group is building toward a dinner theatre that combines stories, community, and food.
