Mitchellville community hosting 7th annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration
JASPER COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) - The Mitchellville Community in Jasper County is preparing to host its 7th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration next month.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, from noon to 5 p.m. at 128 Mango Drive in the Mitchellville Community.
Organizers say the celebration will honor Black history, culture and freedom while bringing the community together for a day of entertainment and fellowship.
The event will include food, music, vendors and family-friendly activities under the theme “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.”
Organizers are also currently accepting vendors for the celebration.
