Missing Florida woman’s vehicle detected in Hinesville

LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) — The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public about a missing woman case out of Jacksonville.

Authorities say the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office issued a Missing Person Alert for Margaret Hanley, 72, who is believed to be traveling in a silver 2001 Toyota RAV4 with Florida tag ESMF23.

Hanley is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Officials say her vehicle was last detected by FLOCK cameras at West Oglethorpe Highway and Timberland Circle in Hinesville on Feb. 8, 2026.

Anyone with information about Hanley’s whereabouts or the vehicle is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500. The case number is 26-80-4852.

Authorities urge the public to share any tips that may help locate Hanley safely.
