Missing 30-year-old Beaufort man located

BEAUFORT COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 4:12 p.m. 8/14/2025] Henry T. Watkins has been located safe, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 30-year-old Henry T. Watkins of St. Helena Island.

Watkins was reported missing by family members Thursday morning. The family members have not heard from since about 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

There is a concern for Watkin’s wellbeing.

Watkins is about 5′9″ and weighs 120 pounds. He is believed to be driving a blue Honda Civic bearing South Carolina license plate 590BAL.
