Middle school teacher arrested by Hampton Co. Sheriff’s Office for unlawful conduct towards a child
HAMPTON COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - A middle school teacher at Estill Middle School was arrested today, September 24, 2025, according to the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Estill Middle School earlier today after receiving a report involving possible child endangerment, according to a post from the Sheriff’s Office on social media.
Following their investigation, deputies arrested teacher Priscilla Dennis on a charge of Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child.
The student involved was evaluated on site by the school nurse and Hampton County EMS.
The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) is involved in the case.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.
No further details will be released at this time in order to protect the privacy of the child.
