Metter mayor to host first town hall meeting after 100 days in office
METTER, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Metter is inviting residents to attend Mayor Rashida Taylor’s first “100 Days in Office” town hall meeting next week.
The public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at Tremount Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Metter.
City leaders say the event will give residents an opportunity to hear updates from the mayor’s office while also raising questions and concerns about the community.
Officials encourage residents to submit questions or concerns to the City of Metter Mayor’s Office ahead of the meeting.
Organizers also note that seating inside the church sanctuary will be limited.
