COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Two people were arrested after an incident at a Chuck E. Cheese in Richland County over the weekend.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said Tavares McFadden-World and Kenzie Miller, both 19, were booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after their arrests.

According to RCSD, deputies were called to the restaurant on Burning Tree Drive at around 4:20 p.m. Saturday after reports of a situation involving a weapon.

Multiple victims and witnesses reportedly told deputies McFadden-World pointed a firearm at three different people. McFadden-World also allegedly held one victim against their will and threatened them while holding the gun in his hand. He then reportedly left with Miller inside her vehicle.

Another person also told deputies that after McFadden-World pointed a gun at them, they responded by pulling out their own gun as he and Miller were leaving. RCSD noted that this person was cited for breach of peace.

RCSD said Miller’s vehicle returned to the area as deputies were still at the scene. She and McFadden-World were both detained, with the latter later admitting he had pointed the gun inside Chuck E. Cheese. Miller also reportedly admitted to driving McFadden-World away from the scene after seeing him point the gun.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported, according to RCSD.

McFadden-World is charged with three counts of pointing and presenting, second-degree assault, kidnapping and tampering with evidence. As of Monday, records show McFadden-World is being held on a $75,000 bond.
