Ludowici player wins over $500k in Georgia lottery drawing

LUDOWICI, Ga. (WTOC) - A Georgia Lottery player in Ludowici is celebrating a major win after hitting a $528,931 jackpot in the March 28 Fantasy 5 drawing.

According to the Georgia Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased using the Georgia Lottery mobile app and matched all five numbers.

Lottery officials said other players around the state also recently cashed in on prizes through Powerball, Quick Win games and Diggi Games.

On March 28, a ticket purchased at Zip N Foods on GA Highway 204 in Ellabell won $138,693 playing 50X The Money Quick Win. On March 27, a player in Pembroke won $25,000 playing Bank Boost!, a Diggi Game.

As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Fantasy 5, Powerball, Quick Win, Diggi Games and Millionaire for Life benefit education in the state of Georgia.
