Law enforcement search for person of interest in fatal hit-and-run crash in Chatham Co.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Law enforcement needs your help in identifying a person of interest in fatal hit-and-run crash in Chatham County.

In a post from the Georgia Department of Public Safety Sunday morning, officials are looking for a person of interest in a fatal crash involving a 2015 Dodge Journey and a motorcycle that occurred on Chevis Road at the intersection of Newington Road and Beaufort Road on May 10.

Law enforcement needs your help in identifying a person of interest in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Chatham County.

Officials say the driver and front seat passenger of the Dodge left the scene on foot. The person of interest may have connections in Chatham County, Beaufort, Hardeeville, and Hilton Head areas.
