Keep Savannah Beautiful to kick off annual cleanup with Greek and Civic Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Keep Savannah Beautiful is calling on residents, fraternities, sororities and civic organizations to roll up their sleeves for the fifth annual Greek and Civic Cleanup Day on March 28.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the W.W. Law Community Center, 900 East Bolton St., and will serve as the official kickoff for the 2026 Great Savannah Cleanup.

Volunteers will clean the Benjamin Van Clark and Eastside neighborhoods, removing litter and improving public spaces in support of neighborhood pride and environmental stewardship. The city will provide supplies, and students can earn community service hours.

The 2026 Great Savannah Cleanup is set for April 25 from 8 a.m. to noon. Residents can register by March 25 at keepsavannahbeautiful.org or call 912-650-7807. Keep Savannah Beautiful, part of the City’s Sanitation Department, promotes litter prevention and neighborhood beautification year-round.
