Jasper County detectives arrest Polaris Tech instructor on sexual conduct with a minor charge

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - A 23-year-old instructor at Polaris Tech has been arrested on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior.

In a press release, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office announced that detectives arrested Dylan Stefl of Ridgeland on January 29 after interviews and an investigation. Stefl is employed as an instructor at Polaris Tech and is currently on administrative leave.

He has been charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, third degree.

Due to the sensitive nature of this case and to protect the privacy of the victim involved, no additional information will be released at this time, according to the sheriff’s office.

The investigation remains ongoing. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
