Jasper County Sheriff’s Office investigating death of 19-year-old on Alligator Alley

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman following a call for service Saturday night.

On the evening of Saturday, May 9, deputies say they responded to the area of Alligator Alley (SC-170). During the investigation, law enforcement confirmed a deceased individual at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Aveonnah Rene Moore. Her family has since been notified.

At this time, investigators are asking for the public’s assistance.
