Increased law enforcement presence in Burton, investigation underway
BURTON, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is are investigating after a report of shots fired in the area of Independence Mobile Home Park on Shanklin Road in Burton.
The public can expect an increased law enforcement presence in the area.
The sheriff’s office says people should avoid the area if possible during the investigation.
