I-16 from just past Chatham Parkway to I-516 in its final configuration
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, I-16 eastbound from just east of Chatham Parkway to I-516 is in its final configuration as other nearby projects continue.
GDOT said the final shift was made on Friday, September 26.
Lane closures continue, however, on I-16 westbound from I-516 to Chatham Parkway and under the bridge as construction is finalizing there.
The area between I-516 and Chatham Parkway westbound should be open by the end of this year, pending the final work over Tremont Road, according to GDOT.
