Heavy police presence at McDonald’s in Ridgeland, avoid the area
RIDGELAND, S.C. (WTOC) - There is currently a heavy police presence at the McDonald’s in Ridgeland, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
The JCSO, the Ridgeland Police Department, and South Carolina DNR “have worked together to take a wanted individual into custody,” the JCSO says in a social media post.
There is no threat to the public, but the JCSO asks for locals and travelers to please avoid the area if possible while the scene is being cleared.
