Hampton Co. Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal shooting on Granthill Road
HAMPTON COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - One person is dead after a shooting in the Lowcountry.
The Hampton County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a reported shooting on Granthill Road in the Scotia area on Feb. 21.
When deputies arrived to the scene, they found 31-year-old Geordi Pringle, of Hardeeville, suffering from a gunshot wound. Pringle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials confirmed one individual has been taken into custody in connection with this shooting with formal charges pending.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
