Gunman dead after shooting at Columbus Amazon facility, police say
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A suspected gunman is dead following an early Monday morning shooting at a warehouse, according to Columbus police.
Officers responded to an “active shooter” call at Amazon’s newly opened delivery station in the 5800 block of Osceola Court shortly before 5 a.m., according to a police spokesperson.
The shooter has been identified as 22-year-old Mylen Belyue. He was pronounced dead by suicide on the scene at 6:45 a.m.
The Columbus Police Department released a statement following the shooting:

The spokesperson was not aware of any other injuries.
