Grinch arrested in Colquitt County after days on the run

Mr. Grinch was captured by the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) at the Dairy Queen in Moultrie Sunday morning, the sheriff’s office announced. CCSO shared photos and videos of Mr. Grinch’s arrest to their Facebook page.

CCSO said they received a tip that the Grinch was at the Dairy Queen, and that Corporal Abby Tucker and Deputy Colt Valdez quickly responded to the scene.

This comes after Mr. Grinch was spotted at a Colquitt County elementary school Friday, Dec. 19 stealing gifts and Christmas trees.

The sheriff’s office said that the Grinch is now a resident of the Colquitt County Jail.
