Georgia pre-K program could earn your child thousands in college savings

ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - Georgia families with pre-K students can now enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a college savings account.

The “Path from Pre-K to College” sweepstakes is accepting entries through March 31. Four winners — one each from Metro Atlanta, North, South and Southeast Georgia — will each receive $1,529 deposited into a Path2College 529 savings account. The pre-K program of each winning child will also receive $1,529.

The sweepstakes is open to any child enrolled in a DECAL-licensed Georgia pre-K program. Parents, grandparents or guardians are eligible to enter.

Entries can be submitted online at path2college529.com/pre-k.
