ATLANTA, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia State Election Board has completed adjudication of all 315 cases that were backlogged in the Secretary of State office, the board announced Thursday.

The accomplishment demonstrates the board’s continued commitment to efficiency, transparency, and the integrity of Georgia election processes, according to the announcement.

Executive Director James Mills commended the board and staff for their diligence and professionalism in achieving the milestone.

The State Election Board received the backlog from the Secretary of State in October 2025. Charlene McGowan, legal counsel for the Secretary of State, reported there were no new cases “ready for presentation.”

The next scheduled State Election Board meeting is March 18, 2026. There are no new cases ready for presentation as of February 20, 2026.
