STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Georgia Southern University will hold five Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies next week for more than 4,500 graduates across the university’s 10 colleges.

Students will receive associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees during ceremonies scheduled in Statesboro, Savannah, and Swainsboro from May 11 through May 14.

Several alumni and community leaders are set to serve as commencement speakers, including Delta Air Lines Senior Vice President of Global Sales Bob Somers, Chick-fil-A Hinesville owner and operator Nick Westbrook, Banana Ball Championship League recruiting director Berry Aldridge, certified public accountant Kim Hartsock, and State Representative Butch Parrish.

The Savannah undergraduate ceremony will take place Wednesday, May 13, at 9 a.m. at Enmarket Arena.

Additional ceremonies will be held at Allen E. Paulson Stadium, the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center, and the East Georgia campus in Swainsboro.
