Garden City officer involved in crash on Dean Forest Road
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Garden City police officer was involved in a crash Wednesday night on Dean Forest Road near Nassau Woods.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the officer was attempting a U-turn to assist a van that had run out of gas when another vehicle collided with the patrol car.
Troopers at the scene say the other driver was intoxicated, and WTOC crews witnessed that driver being taken into custody.
