GSP investigating deadly hit and run on State Route 25 just south of Quacco Rd.
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - One pedestrian was killed early Monday morning in a hit and run on State Route 25 just south of Quacco Road.
Georgia State Patrol said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while in the road of SR 25 not in a designated crossing area.
The vehicle left the scene without being identified, according to GSP.
The pedestrian died at the scene due to their injuries.
GSP said this hit and run is still under active investigation, specifically the Georgia State Patrols Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRTF) is investigating.
