GSP, Garden City investigating fatal Thursday morning crash that closed lanes on Highway 21
GARDEN CITY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia State Patrol and Garden City Police are investigating a fatal Thursday morning crash that shut down lanes on Highway 21 outside of Groves High School.
According to GSP, a pedestrian was crossing the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes not in a designated crosswalk.
Deputies say a Kia Sorento struck the pedestrian in the left northbound lane.
The driver turned around and came to a stop on the left southbound lane of GA-21.
The pedestrian died due to their injuries at the hospital.
