GBI called to investigate shooting at Frazier Homes, Mayor confirms
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - GBI were called to investigate an incident at the 600 block of Frazier Homes on Feb. 21. Savannah Police and Chatham County Police have secured the scene.
WTOC was on the scene and saw at least 27 police cars, a K-9 unit, and Mayor Van Johnson present.
“We have an officer-involved shooting and we’ve secured the scene,” Mayor Van Johnson confirmed.
Johnson said at least three officers engaged in a use-of-force incident where one person was injured with non-life-threatening injuries and transported to the hospital.


He confirmed that the GBI will be taking over this investigation.
