Free wills clinic returns to Brunswick after overwhelming demand
BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Brunswick is expanding access to free legal services after a strong response from the community.
City leaders announced a second Free Wills Clinic will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Old City Hall on Newcastle Street.
The clinic is being offered in partnership with the Georgia Legal Services Program and will provide qualifying residents with simple wills, financial powers of attorney, and advance directives for healthcare at no cost.
Officials say the goal is to help residents ensure their personal wishes are clearly documented and legally protected.

City Commissioner Dr. Gwen Atkinson-Williams said the first clinic saw strong interest, with multiple residents receiving assistance, prompting the need for a second event.
Space for the clinic is limited, and advance registration is required. Interested individuals must complete the intake process by calling 912-963-1793 or 912-400-2004 no later than May 29 at 3 p.m.
The clinic is intended for low-income individuals and eligible seniors.
For additional information, residents can contact the City of Brunswick Housing Program office.
