SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A local nonprofit is bringing food, resources and support to the community with a special spring event.

Union Mission is hosting a Spring Picnic Pop-Up on Tuesday, March 31, offering free meals, clothing and hygiene items to anyone in need.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Union Mission Administrative Office, located at 125 Fahm Street in Savannah.

Organizers say meals will be boxed to-go, and seating will be available for those who want to stay. In addition to food, attendees can visit a free clothing closet and receive hygiene bags.

The event is open to everyone, with the goal of supporting individuals and families across the community.

Union Mission says the event is made possible through support from community partners, including Red Bull and Parker’s Kitchen.
