Free fresh produce distribution set for Ridgeland families

RIDGELAND, Sc. (WTOC) - Families in Ridgeland will have the opportunity to receive free fresh produce Monday through the Lowcountry Food Bank’s “Fresh for All” distribution.

The no-cost event is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ridgeland Elementary School, located at 250 Jaguar Trail in Ridgeland.

Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are gone.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring their own bags to carry items.

The event is part of the Lowcountry Food Bank’s Neighbor Choice Produce Distribution program, which aims to provide healthy food options to families across the region. Community members are also welcome to pick up food for friends or loved ones who are unable to attend.

The distribution is open to those in need of food assistance and comes at no cost to participants.
