Four people displaced after home fire in the 1900 block of Utah Street
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Four people were displaced following a house fire in the 1900 block of Utah Street Thursday afternoon.
All occupants were able to safely exit the home before emergency crews arrived, and no injuries have been reported. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:21 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found flames that had started in the kitchen and extended into the attic. Crews worked to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
