Four injured in Long County rollover crash after driver swerves to avoid animal
LONG COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) -Four people were injured Friday evening when a Nissan Pathfinder overturned on SR 57 near mile marker 28 after the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal, according to Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers were dispatched to the single-car rollover crash around 6:23 p.m. The crash investigation revealed the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned after swerving.
The adult male driver, two adult passengers and one juvenile passenger all sustained injuries from the crash. Troopers said some occupants were trapped in the vehicle.
SR 57 was completely closed from 6:55 p.m. to 10:10 p.m. as a result of the crash.
The adult driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license and was charged accordingly, according to Georgia State Patrol.
