Flagging operations on U.S. 321 starts this week
HARDEEVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - Flagging operations on Deerfield Road/U.S. 321 in Jasper County will start on Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation said crews will work to clear vegetation along the roadway shoulder and implement erosion control measures to prevent washouts caused by rainfall.
Drivers should plan ahead and anticipate delays. SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
“This effort is part of the Rural Road Safety Program (RRSP) which focuses on improving safety along rural roadways and reducing fatal and serious injury crashes,” they wrote.
