Fatal crash closes Highway 80 East in Pooler, police confirm
POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - A fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian crash has closed Highway 80 East between Continental Boulevard and Coleman Boulevard in Pooler, the Pooler Police Department confirmed.
First responders are on scene; drivers are urged to avoid the area while crews clear the scene and investigators work.
The mayor of Pooler took to social media following the crash emphasizing the importance of defensive driving and patience on the road.
