Driver killed following ejection in Beaufort Co. crash
BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - A fatal crash is under investigation in Beaufort County tonight.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. on Bluffton Parkway at Soperton Drive.
Troopers say a Ford Mustang traveling east left the roadway, struck a median and a tree, and overturned.
The driver was ejected into the westbound lanes, was struck by a car, and died at the scene. The driver has not been identified.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
