CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Health Department is holding a drive-thru flu shot clinic on Halloween, October 31, 2025.

Attendees will be able to get a flu shot without leaving their cars.

Health Department staff will be in the parking lot of Memorial Stadium at 101 John J. Scott Drive in Savannah from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on October 31 offering flu shots at no cost.

According to a press release from the Georgia Department of Health, no appointment is needed and the flu vaccine will be available for ages 6 months and older.

“Many private health insurance plans are accepted, and no-cost flu shots will be offered for individuals without insurance coverage,” the release states.

For viewers in Long County, a flu shot clinic will also be held at the Long County Health Department on October 30, 2025.

The release states that flu vaccines are also available every clinic day at your local Health Department by appointment.

“The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone over six months of age,” says the Department of Health. “Vaccination is particularly important for those at high risk of complications from flu, including adults 65 and older, children younger than five, pregnant women, people with weakened immune systems, and people with chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.”
