SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -The Davenport House Museum will host a free Family Day on Sunday, Jan. 25, offering hands-on activities for adults and children of all ages.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum, located at 324 E. State St. on Columbia Square, with sponsorship support from the City of Savannah. The theme will highlight early Savannah’s historic trades through interactive learning.

Planned activities include craft stations featuring embroidery, leatherwork and historic printmaking, along with live woodturning demonstrations. Artisans and music will be featured throughout the museum grounds.

“We’re excited to offer free, family-friendly activities that celebrate Savannah’s history,” said Danielle Hodes, executive director of the Davenport House Museum.

The museum is owned and operated by the Historic Savannah Foundation.
