First Alert Weather: Tropical Outlook

A broad area of low pressure (Invest 92L) located the central tropical Atlantic is getting better organized.

There is a 90% chance for tropical development as the system moves to the west-northwest over the next 7 days.

Computer models turn this system to the north and it does not look to be a threat to the US.

A tropical wave is just moving off the west coast of Africa. There is a 20% chance for tropical development over the next 7 days as the system generally moves westward.

Most computer models have this system following a similar track as Invest 92L.
