Dave Turley’s First Alert Weather forecast for Tuesday, January 27, 2026

by Dave Turley, Jamie Ertle

High pressure will continue to influence our weather the rest of the week. Temps remain well below average today with highs only in the low to mid 40s. We’ll see a few more clouds Wednesday and Thursday but a cold front will dissipate just to our north Thursday. Our warmest day will be Friday with highs in the upper 50s. Colder air arrives for the weekend. Lots of clouds Saturday with highs only in the low 40s. Our forecast will depend on exactly where low pressure develops off the southeast coast Saturday. The low is forecast to move quickly away from the area Sunday. IF we can get the moisture in here from the low there is a potential for snow Saturday night. Not all computer models think this will happen yet. At this time the GFS and the CMC say snow is likely but the ECMWF does not. Stay tuned for updates as a First Alert WX Day is possible.
