A coastal low pulls away from the area today as moisture moves in from the west. This will keep us with lots of clouds, scattered showers and cooler temps. Highs today only in the mid to upper 60s. We keep a few showers through Tuesday afternoon. Another weak cold front moves through late Wednesday with a slight rain chance. Cooler air filters in Thursday with another dry cold front Friday. Highs remain in the 60s with lows in the 40s! Halloween will be dry and cool with temps in the low 60s as kids head out Trick or Treating. The weekend looks good with sunshine Saturday and more clouds Sunday with a very low rain chance. Temps warm back into the low to mid 70s. Our average high temp is about 75. Daylight Saving Time comes to an end at 2am Sunday. Don’t forget to turn back your clocks 1 hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

Tropical Weather Outlook: Hurricane Melissa is located just south of Jamaica. Melissa is forecast to make landfall in Jamaica as a cat 5 hurricane Tuesday followed by a landfall in eastern Cuba Wednesday. Melissa is then forecast to move to the northeast into the Atlantic and is no threat to our area.
