A weak cold front dissipates over the area today allowing high pressure to settle in. We’ll see lots of sun and highs in the upper 70s. A coastal trough develops Saturday through Tuesday. Saturday will see lots of sun but more clouds a slight chance for showers by late Sunday. Low pressure moves over the area Monday with our best chance for much needed rain. Another weak cold front moves through late Wednesday with a slight rain chance. Cooler air filters in Thursday and Friday with highs only in the 60s!

Today will be sunny, highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Tonight will be clear, lows near 50.

Saturday will be sunny early then partly cloudy, highs in the mid 70s.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a 10% chance for showers, highs in the low to mid 70s.

Sunday night will be cloudy with a 50% chance for showers, lows in the low 60s.

Monday will be cloudy with a 60% chance for showers and storms, highs near 70.

Monday night will be cloudy with a 30% chance for showers, lows in the mid 50s.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers, highs in the upper 60s.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers, lows in the mid 50s.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers, highs near 70.

Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers, lows in the low 50s.

Thursday will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers, highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy, lows in the upper 40s.

Coastal Waters Forecast: Today: N winds at 5-10 kt becoming NE 10 kt. Seas: 1-2 ft. Tonight: NE winds at 10-15 kt increasing to 15-20 kt after midnight. Seas: 2-3 ft building to 3-4 ft after midnight.

Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical Storm Melissa is located over the central Caribbean Sea. Melissa is forecast to become a category 4 hurricane this weekend as it remains south and west of Jamaica. Melissa is then forecast to move to the northeast into the Atlantic and is no threat to our area.
