High pressure will continue today and so does our mostly dry weather. There is a very slight chance for showers through 7pm. Smoke from wildfires will continue over most of the area. Air quality will be low depending on wind direction. All outdoor burning is banned for the next 28 days in Georgia and until further notice in South Carolina. Clouds increase Saturday afternoon with a chance for showers late in the day. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front is forecast to stall over the area Sunday through Monday. This will keep some clouds, cooler temps and at least some much needed rain chances. Another cold front moves in Wednesday and Thursday with more much needed rain chances .
